B.Sc. Management of Ship Operations

AMET University has come up with an innovative idea of providing a degree path for students holding HND Certificate in Nautical Science, a recognized CoC, and/or, a Diploma in Nautical Science. Essentially, students have completed the Year 1 and Year 2 of the BSc program under the HND scheme. They can join the Year 3, which will be a 1 year Programme of study and lead to the award of a BSc degree in Management of Ship Operations, exclusively conducted by this University. Students can join the Year 3, either after completion of HND Nautical Science and/or,while employed. That is “Learn while you Earn”!
The uniqueness of this Programme is in its student centeredness, flexibility and affordability. This is conducted as a part time program and facilitateslearning through electronic media. Students can enroll into this Programme by online registration and paying the required fees.The BSc curricula follows the HND Nautical Science curriculain the Year 1 and Year 2 of the program. The year 3 is designed as an advanced level study, which will help the HND graduates to expand their career scope in the maritime industry as mid-level managers. TheYear 3 program could also be attractive for the navigating officers who aspire to become a university graduate.
