19 JULY 2013: AMET is proud to announce the achievements made by three of its students for the academic year 2012-2013 in South Tyneside College- UK and City of Glasgow College – UK who are there to undergo the final year of training Programme under international collaboration programme.
AnantaMukhiand GbakoShekwoyemi (NIMASA) received the Outstanding Achievement award HND (Nautical Science) for the year 2012 – 13 at South Tyneside College- UK. This award comes along with a cash prize of GBP 100/-
The award was presented by Ms. Lindsey Whiterod, Principal and Chief Executive at Custom House South Shields on the basis of academics, attendance and discipline in the class.
Out of 45 examinationsAnantaMukhi scored 90 – 100 percent in 14 subjects, 80 – 89 in 13 subjects and passed all the examination in 1st attempt and secured ‘A’ grade in all the three graded unit examinations.
Ashish Singh was awarded the Best International Deck Cadet for the session 2012 – 13 with a trophy and cash prize of 100 GBP at the graduation ceremony which was held on 27th June at the Glasgow Cathedral also called High Kirk of Glasgow at 1800 hours. The award was presented by Guest Speaker Tasmina Ahmed Sheikh. The HND completion certificate was presented by the Principal and Chief Executive Paul Little.
The students were recognized by a panel of distinguished international academics who reviewed those nominated from several other international students.
