PHYSICAL TRAINING / PARADE / DRILLS& GAMES
Common for BE (ME) & BSC (NS)  - PRACTICAL (1 Credit)
         

Unit – I - General Warming up: Methods                                                                        

  1. On land Training                                                                                                                              
  2. In water Training

Unit – II - Development of General conditioning ability in Swimming:                                    

  1. Freehand/calisthenics exercises.
  2. Development of basic endurance in swimming.
  3. Development of basic strength, speed, flexibility and coordinative abilities required in swimming on land and In-water.

Unit – III - Development of personal performance and demonstration ability in Swimming:

  1. Strokes - Free Style, Butterfly, Breast Stroke, Butterfly and Back Strokes
  2. Floating , Kicking, Glide
Unit – IV –Important Swimming Strokes - Practice on Life Saving - Teaching (Pedagogic) Practice:-  - Water Games

Unit – V – Parade Training

  • March Past Skills – Assembly, Roll Call, Orders, Marching, Salute
  • Colours, Sunset – Flag etiquettes
  • Guard of Honour , Salute and Receiving Salute – Etiquettes, Protocol
  • Officer – Like Demeanour, Behaviour
