Dr.P.Sivabalan is a Professor and Head of Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering Department, Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET, a Deemed to be University), Chennai. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in the year 2002, master’s degree in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from IIT Kharagpur in the year 2007 and doctoral degree in Ocean Engineering from IIT Madras in the year 2018. He has more than 20+ years of teaching and research experience. His research areas of expertise include Marine Material and Floating Body Dynamics. He has received Best Faculty Award for his academic contribution and Best Paper Award for his paper publication in MARTEC2014 conference held at Surabaya, Indonesia. He has published around 26 papers in referred journals and conferences. He is a member of INA, IEI, and ISTE.
