Dr. N. Duraimutharasan, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science has 26 years of experience in teaching, research and administration. He received his B.Sc.,(CS) Degree from Bharathidasan University, MCA Degree from Bharathiyar University and Ph.D. Degree from Hindustan University in the year 2016, Chennai. He has published more articles in refereed International Journals and Conferences.

Prior to joining AMET in 2021, he had served as a Faculty and elevated as assistant professor in Satyabama University from 2000 to 2003. He worked in NIFT from 2003 to 2010. Then he worked as a associate professor at Periyar Maniammai University from 2010 to 2016. After that he move to Zambia at Mosa University as Dean Science from 2016 to 2021.

He is a member of IEEE professional society, Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and IAENG. He has guided 1 Ph.D. scholar and guided 05 masters in philosophy students in the area of Computer Science, Data Base Management and Artificial Intelligence.
