Curriculum

B.Com (General) programme is an undergraduate degree designed to inculcate business acumen with an environment to nurture students with a high level of knowledge and competence to effectively contribute to society with commitment and integrity.

The programme is designed in such a way that it meets the industry's needs in the areas of Accounting, Finance, Management, Law, Marketing, Taxation and Computer Science.

Internships are a compulsory part of the academic curriculum at the end of each semester. The students are assessed for their learning and development during this internship and which helps them to apply the knowledge that was learnt in college and helps in strengthening the concepts that were taught in the B.Com syllabus. To enrich their knowledge, the department arranges for workshops, guest lectures and Industrial visits.

The department has qualified staff who are highly committed, dedicated and willing to walk an extra mile to mentor the students.

The education imparted here aims to nurture self-confidence, a commitment to excellence, "out of the box" thinking, sensitization to social and environmental needs and a holistic outlook on life, along with discipline in the students.

Duration: 3 years (6 semesters)

Eligibility: Pass in Higher Secondary with 50% marks.

Mode of Selection: Personal Interview.

Age Limit: Below 25 years at the time of commencement.
