The
AMET University, under the erstwhile banner of
AMET, has been conducting marine industry driven
courses and programmes leading to various mandatory
certification of the Directorate General of Shipping
as well as diplomas and degrees of collaborating
Universities. With a paradigm shift in its status
as a Deemed- to- be University, it envisages a
larger role for itself, namely, that of a Centre
of Excellence for Higher Education and Research
in the maritime, marine and allied fields. It
will be the endeavor of the AMET University
to emphasize on practical application of knowledge.
|
| |
The
Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) shall be

research in any particular discipline or more
than one discipline (inter-disciplinary), that
makes a contribution to the advancement of knowledge,
and which is approved by a board of examiners.
