"The Nigerian Master Mariners Association in collaboration with The Nigerian Maritime Administration recently held a forum on Human Capacity Development for the Maritime Industry at the scenic port town of Calabar in Nigeria.

Capt. S. Bhardwaj, Vice Chancellor of AMET University, Chennai, was invited as the Keynote speaker and main Resource person. Following his paper, the participants were divided into two groups and engaged in an intensive workshop activity to come up with recommendations for the country to take up policy issues.

The President of The Nigerian Association of Master Mariners Captain Adejimi Adu and the head of the Technical Committee Captain S.A. Omoteso have conveyed their personal best regards and good wishes to the Company of Master Mariners of India."
