Paralympics is a world wide sport movement for the persons with Physical Disability.

Mr. M. Mukunthan, Department of Physical Education, is the only person from Tamilnadu who has been selected to represent the INDIAN CRICKET TEAM for the paralympics. His selection was made on the basis of his performance in the previous National Level Cricket Tournaments. He will be playing for the National Criket Team for the Disabled from 17th to 19th july 2007 to be held in Anathapur, Andhra Pradesh.
