The Petroleum Engineering Programme at the AMET University has a modern curriculum that emphasizes not only Petroleum Engineering fundamentals but also the business management processes that are applied to reach optimal engineering options for field development and exploitation of hydrocarbon.

Course contents, professional training programme,projects and other assignments are designed to prepare the graduates to launch their careers in India and overseas in oil and gas companies. During the course, the student of B.E. Petroleum Engineering would undergo various professional training programmes and gain hands-on experience. In addition, the student will undergo Health, Safety and Environment Training program related to oil andgas fields thereby preparing the students for taking up the oil field assignments. Eligibility Criteria:

A Pass in Plus 2 (12th Standard) or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks each in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and 55% marks in English from any recognized Board. An aptitude for field work is necessary.
