Features of the programme :

A paradigm shift in the banking and financial environment of India has created an emergent need for a new genre of management professionals. These are needed in ever increasing numbers to meet the requirements of banks, financial institutions, nonbanking financial corporations and more widely in the corporate sector.

Until recently careers existed only in nationalized banks, but with liberalization a host of private banks and financial institutions have emerged. The Insurance sector has seen an impressive growth with around 25 new players in a short span of time. And recent study shows that 35% of recruitment in B-Schools was in banking and finance sector followed by 22% in the IT sector.

 Eligibility :

 Qualifications
1. Any degree from a recognized University with 50 % marks. (OR)
2.Mariners holding the following professional qualifications obtained after a minimum duration of study-cum-training of six years after 10 + 2 leading to.    
       a) Master Foreign Going Certificate of Competency (or)
      b) First Class (Motor) or (Steam) or Combined (Steam and Motors) Certificate of Competency issued by the Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Government of India or its counterparts in other countries. 
Admission Test
CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / JMET / TANCET scores will be accepted. If a candidate has not taken any of the above tests, he / she will be asked to appear for a enterance test in Chennai.
Personal Interview / Group Discussion

Personal interview / Group discussion will be held in the following locations:

Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Mumbai / New Delhi / KOlkatta / Ranchi.

Commencement of the classes :

End July / Early August
