Department of Naval Architecture and
Marine Engineering is a key provider
of marine technology expertise in
the UK and beyond. Ideally located
in Glasgow, the University continues
to build on the city’s rich
heritage of shipbuilding and sea-faring,
making significant contributions to
National and International policy-making
and the advancement of the Marine
Technology field. The University’s
B.Eng and M.Eng courses are accredited
by the Royal Institution of Naval
Architects (RINA) and the Institute
of Marine Engineering, Science and
Technology (IMarEST) on behalf of
the Engineering Council. Amet University
students can join this University
for their third and fourth year of
B.E Degree. The Degree will be awarded
by USG, UK.
Eligibility and other criteria:
A
Pass in Plus-two (12th Standard) or
its equivalent, with minimum 60% Marks
aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry
Group from any recognized Board.
Lateral Entry:
(i) Diploma mechanical / Civil Engineering
students who have secured first class
are eligible to be admitted in second
year of the study.
(ii) BSC Mathematics / Physics graduates
who have secured first class are eligible
to be admitted in second year of the
study.
