INTRAMURAL GAMES

Match Format : Knockout

Points System :	Winners	10 Points
	Runners	7 Points

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

All the house matches will be played on Knockout basis.
All the team members shall report to the respective game official 15 minutes prior to the start of the game. If they fail the team will be disqualified.
Team / House captains are responsible for overall conduct and obedience of the members.
All the players should dress in proper sports attire.
Results of the day shall be announced in the subsequent day.
All members are asked to extend their cooperation with the Sports Captains and the respective Team Captains.
In case of any dispute, the decision of the Department of Physical Education will be final.

On the basis of points the house teams will be awarded Overall championship award in the name of SHRI G.JANAKIRAMAN MEMORIAL TROPHY

SPORTS DAY FUNCTION

AMETUNISPO 2016-17 (Sports Day) was held at AMET campus on 19th April 2017. The function starts with the Inaugural Address by Mr. Rajesh Ramachandran, Pro-Chancellor, presidential address by Col.Dr.G.Thiruvasagam, Vice Chancellor. The Chief Guest of the day was Mrs. Balambal Balasubramaniam, Asian Athlete, who delivers the Chief Guest address, and the Guest of Honor was Mr. Muthu Kamatchi and MS. Meena, Paralympics Athletes, Represented Tamil Nadu State. The presence of the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honors steals the student’s attention. Dr.A.Saravanan, Registrar give away the prizes for the winners and runners for the Intramural competitions. The program ends with the National anthem.
