Our department conducts indoor games such as Carrom, Table tennis, Chess and Outdoor games such as Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Kabaddi, Swimming, Handball, Athletics, Volleyball and Body Building (Mr. AMET) through Intramural competition.
Every year, we conducts intramural tournament titled “AMETUNISPO” (Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) Sports) in memory of Late Mr.G.Janakiraman, Father of President Dr.J.Ramachandran and All the Intramural matches are conducted by League basis. Overall Winners will be awarded 10 points, Runners 7 points and Semi losers 4 points. Overall winner’s trophy will be titled as “AMET G.JANAKIRAMAN MEMORIAL ROLLING TROPHY”. The Sports Club is nominated under the eminent leadership of the Vice-Chancellor Col.Dr.G.Thiruvasagam, as its President, with senior teaching staff as its members for the every academic year.
