Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) HONOURED WITH BEST MARITIME ACADEMY AWARD

Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) is once again acknowledged for its dedicated service towards the maritime education. Recognitions and rewards are nothing new to AMET, and this time the University was recognized through the Shipping Times South East India Cargo and Logistics Award CEO Conclave and Awards 2010 for the Best Maritime Academy.  Mr. K. Mohandoss IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India presented this award to Mr. J. Ramachandran, Chancellor Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) at a grand function held recently. Amet was unanimously selected for the award by 9 membered panel of judges headed by Mr. D T Joseph, former secretary to ministry of shipping, Govt. of India. Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) is in the service of maritime education for the past 18 years offering marine and allied Programmes with hundred percent placement. Amet is already been awarded for the Best Training Award of The Lloyd’s List UK IN 2007 and also the Sailor Today Award for “Innovation in Maritime Training”  during 2008.


Mr J Ramachandran, Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET),  receiving the Shipping Times South East India Cargo and Logistics Award 2010 for the Best Maritime Academy from Mr. K. Mohandoss IAS., Secretary, Ministry of Shipping,  Govt. of India at the function held at Chennai, on 31st July 2010.
